Isabel Hartounian, MS, OTR/L, PMH-C, TIPHP

Owner & Occupational Therapist

After navigating perinatal depression, pelvic pain, and incontinence firsthand—and struggling to find the right support—Isabel knew something had to change. She founded Thrive Maternal Care to provide the care she wished she had during her own postpartum journey. Now, she specializes in pelvic health and maternal mental health, helping moms rebuild strength and reclaim confidence in their bodies.

Before diving into pelvic health, Isabel spent a decade working in pediatrics, supporting families in early intervention, home-based therapy, and sensory-based clinics. Now, she’s grateful to have built a space where moms don’t have to suffer in silence. Expanding Thrive Maternal Care and growing a team of passionate experts means more South Bay moms get the care they deserve—because motherhood is hard enough without dealing with pelvic floor issues alone.

Angeliki Menig, MS, OTR/L

Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist

Angeliki’s passion for pelvic health started close to home—first, when her sister opened up about postpartum urinary incontinence, and later, when she faced her own pregnancy challenges with twins. Between pubic symphysis pain, vulvar swelling, and the general what-is-happening-to-my-body chaos, she became obsessed with understanding and improving pelvic health for moms.

Determined to bridge the gap in care, she immersed herself in research, got hands-on training, and started helping other moms navigate their own perinatal experiences. Before specializing in pelvic health, Angeliki spent seven years working in trauma and community hospitals throughout the Bay Area, gaining invaluable experience in post-surgical recovery, outpatient pelvic floor therapy, and even designing a peripartum exercise modification program at a local barre studio. Her dedication to excellence led her to complete the OT Pioneers Pelvic Health Training, earn a Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certification, and achieve a Barre Intensity Certification, all of which empower her to offer a holistic and informed approach to pelvic health care.

Suzy Choi Lee, MS, OTR/L

Pelvic Floor Occupational Therapist

With over 15 years of diverse experience in occupational therapy, Suzy brings deep clinical insight and compassionate care to the Thrive Maternal Care team. Her journey into pelvic health was inspired by her years serving women through home-based care, neurological rehab, and spinal cord injury recovery—most recently at the VA, where she worked with veterans navigating brain injury, spinal cord injury, and home-based primary care.

But it was her personal experience as a mom of two boys that lit a deeper passion for women’s health. Navigating the physical and emotional shifts of motherhood firsthand, Suzy became curious about the gaps in postpartum care and felt called to help bridge them.

Originally from Los Angeles and now rooted in the Bay Area, Suzy combines her clinical expertise with a whole-person approach to care. She’s passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where moms feel seen, heard, and empowered in their recovery—because pelvic health is not just about the body, but about feeling whole again.
